What parents need to know about Sonora Children's Theatre/Meyer Hideout, Inc.

*Yes, we are two different theatre groups, combining forces to create one UNBEATABLE experience!

*There are no "auditions" to get into a CLASS; though there may be an evaluation in order to place a student in

the correct level class.

*There WILL be auditions for Full Performances, and they will be announced.

*All students are eligible to audition for a show as long as they meet the age and rehearsal requirements. For example: Your student does not have to be enrolled in classes to audition for a Full Performance.

*Summer Hideout Full Performance does require that the student be enrolled in Summer Hideout 6-week

summer camp.

*Many classes will have a Recital at the end of each session, speak to your class instructor for details.

*Students are to be picked up on-time, or fees may result.

SIERRA REPERTORY THEATRE AUDITIONS!

SIERRA REPERTORY THEATRE announces AUDITIONS for a great role for ONE LITTLE GIRL (aged 8-12) for their upcoming production of

Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS.

The character is "Susan Waverly", age 9.   She must be charming, loveable, outgoing, real-kid who knows nothing about show business. Once bitten hard by the showbiz bug, she demonstrates everything that is winning in a child performer. 

ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE AN EXCELLENT, EXTREMELY STRONG, "LITTLE ETHEL MERMAN" SINGING BELT VOICE. Also should be able to MOVE WELL.

The show begins rehearsals September 28 with a performance run of October 19-December 18.    Please do not schedule an audition if there are ANY CONFLICTS with this schedule.   The child cast must be available for ALL rehearsals/performances.

Salary + travel stipend is provided for child cast.

Auditions will be by appointment only on MONDAY AUGUST 30th.    Please email:   artistic@sierrarep.org for an audition.    Please attach photo and any performing credits, if applicable, to your email.    Submissions must be received no later than September 5.   You will be contacted if an audition is to be scheduled.
